A Southern Relief Transport is being arranged through Hoss’ Homeless Hotel to help the animal victims of hurricane Katrina.

This transport will take needed supplies and monetary support to a shelter in Hattiesburg, MS that is recovering from hurricane Katrina. This shelter will be receiving and caring for many animals from the New Orleans area in the upcoming months.

Leslie Burgard, founder of HHH, will head south to Hattiesburg on Wed Sept 13. Leslie will return home with animals in need of homes the following week.  Come back and see the pictures of the animals you can adopt!

Gift cards for any major gas stations - Mobil, Exxon, Shell, Citgo- gas will be needed for transport both to and from the Hattiesburg shelter so any help with this is much appreciated!

At this time the shelters DO NOT need food so please, no food donations!

Supplies we would like to take down include:
Metal collapsible crates or plastic vari kennels that can be taken apart and stacked into one another
Metal bowls and water buckets - all sizes small to large
Interactive toys and chewing stuff - Kong products, Nylabone Products, rawhide rolls, pressed rawhide, hard sterilized bones
Bedding - small throw rugs, bedsheets, bath towels
