Metzger Animal Hospital and Wiscoy Pet Food present
"Bark in the Park 3 - Rally for the Rescues" Bring your owner to see the State College Spikes play the Williamsport Crosscutters. See humans play chase the ball! This year, the event will raise money for animal rescue organizations in Centre County. Every dog attending will receive 1 vote for the rescue of their choice. The amount of money each rescue receives will be deterimined by the number of votes each rescue receives (from attending dogs) and the number of runs the Spikes score that night. The more dogs that attend, the more money the animal rescue groups get! We're rooting for Calvin Anderson to pound in lots of runs to help out the rescues. The participating rescues are: Centre Hall SPCA Pets Come First Golden Retriever Rescue Beagle 911 Hoss's Homeless Hotel PAWS Brookline Lab Rescue Game time is 7:05. The ice cream social for dogs and pet fair inside the park start at 6 PM In addition to the ball game Rockin' Ray and his amazing SkyyDogs USA, a pack of talented Frisbee and bat-retrieving dogs, will dazzle you with their antics.
Fun for the whole family (except cats, who will stay home and wreck your stuff), Wednesday August 6th! Get your tickets now from the State College Spikes ticket office.
